Maxeon Solar Technologies ( MAXN ) was down nearly 11% after it reported preliminary fiscal Q4 revenue of $229 million, compared with its guidance of $220 million to $260 million and below the $236.7 million estimate from analysts surveyed by Capital IQ.

BlackBerry (BB) was up nearly 6% after it unveiled a new precision robotics platform in collaboration with chipmaker AMD (AMD).

Microsoft ( MSFT ) plans to invest $2.9 billion in data centers in Japan by 2025, Nikkei Asia reported, citing an interview with the software giant's president, Brad Smith. Microsoft ( MSFT ) was 0.6% higher in recent premarket activity.
