Stocks to watch out for on September 14: Dr Reddy's, Cadila, PNB Housing Finance

Indian equity indices, the BSE Sensex and the NSE Nifty 50, are likely to start Friday on a strong note, tracking positive global and domestic cues.

The BSE Sensex jumped nearly 305 points to close at 37,717 on Wednesday, rising 0.81 percent, while the NSE Nifty 50 settled at 11,370, climbing 82.40 points or by 0.73 percent. Stocks market were closed on Thursday on account of Ganesh Chaturthi.

Following stocks are likely to see some action in today's trades:

Cadila Health: Zydus received final nod from the USFDA for Risedronate Sodium delayed-release tablets.

Dr Reddy's Labs: The pharma company announced the launch of Neostigmine Methylsulphate injection in the US.

Pharma: The government has banned 328 combination drugs referred to as fixed-dose combinations (FDCs). The health ministry on Wednesday said the board had found there was “no therapeutic justification for the ingredients contained in 328 FDCs and that these FDCs may involve risk to human beings”.

PNB Housing Finance: Seven bidders have shown interest in buying PNB Housing Finance in a deal estimated to be around $2.3 billion, according to a report in The Times of India. The list of bidders, who submitted initial offers on Monday, include Bandhan Bank, Dewan Housing Finance, Godrej, and a group led by Singapore’s GIC and Blackstone.

SBI: The PSU lender has appointed Prashant Kumar, deputy MD, as CFO of the bank with immediate effect.

Dishman Carbogen: Ind-Ra affirmed long term rating to IND A+/Stable; Short term as IND A1+

Jain Irrigation: The company acquired Smart Irrigation Pioneer ETwater. While the acquisition is small, it will help fortify the company’s position in the US smart agriculture market with Internet of Things (loT) and also to scale up operations.

PPAP Automotive: CRISIL has reaffirmed the credit rating of the company on the long term bank facilities to 'CRISILA+/Stable'; the short term bank facilities at 'CRISIL A1'

Wipro: The IT firm and Anaplan partner to deliver best-in-class cloud enterprise performance management solutions.

CONCOR: Investor meet is scheduled on September 14 with Fidelity International and Kotak Securities.

Maruti Suzuki: India’s largest automaker boosts Baleno production to cut down waiting period. The production of India’s blockbuster premium hatchback increases 34 percent in the past 8 months.

Sunteck Realty: ICRA rating on CP worth Rs 150 crore as ICRA A1+.

TATA Communications: Dr. Gopichand Katragadda has tendered his resignation as director from the board.

Engineers India: The board considered the proposal for acquisition of 100 percent paid-up share capital of Projects and Development India Ltd from President of India.
