01:45 PM EST, 12/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Revelation Biosciences ( REVB ) said Tuesday it entered into a definitive agreement for the immediate exercise of certain outstanding warrants to purchase up to about 4.06 million shares at an exercise price of $1.00 apiece.

The company said it issued the warrants on Aug. 22.

Shares slumped 41% to $0.56 apiece, with intraday trading volume at over 3.82 million compared with a daily average of about 734,000.

Intel ( INTC ) is considering outside candidates to fill its vacant chief executive position, including Marvell Technology (MRVL) Chief Executive Officer Matt Murphy, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the situation.

Intel ( INTC ) CEO Pat Gelsinger has retired, and there is "no clear successor" to replace him, a Wedbush Securities note said Tuesday.

Intel ( INTC ) and Marvell did not immediately reply to requests for comment from MT Newswires.

Intel ( INTC ) shares retreated 5.6% as intraday trading volume climbed to more than 87.2 million, versus a daily average of roughly 77.4 million.

Microchip Technology's ( MCHP ) shares fell 5% a day after the company said it expects fiscal Q3 revenue to be close to the low end of its guidance range of $1.03 billion to $1.1 billion.

More than 3.03 million shares traded intraday compared with the stock's daily average of about 6.26 million.
