02:50 PM EDT, 06/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Shares of Enphase Energy ( ENPH ) , SolarEdge Technologies ( SEDG ) , and Sunrun ( RUN ) sank 23%, 34%, and 39%, respectively, after the US Senate Finance Committee reportedly proposed phasing out solar and wind energy tax credits by 2028 as part of changes made to President Donald Trump's tax-cut and spending bill.
In the case of Sunrun ( RUN ), intraday trading volume soared to more than 99 million shares from a daily average of about 17.6 million.
Over 28.8 million shares of SolarEdge ( SEDG ) traded intraday compared with its daily average of roughly 4.4 million.
Intraday trading volume of Enphase shares surged to over 28.7 million versus a daily average of about 6.1 million.
Adial Pharmaceuticals ( ADIL ) said Tuesday it priced a public offering to raise about $3.6 million through the sale of 11.1 million shares and accompanying series D and series E warrants. The company plans to use the proceeds for working capital and general corporate purposes.
Shares slumped 25% as intraday trading volume rose to over 6.1 million from a daily average of about 886,000.
