Jan 13 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes opened
lower on Monday, as yields surged after robust payroll numbers
last week bolstered expectations that the Federal Reserve will
maintain a hawkish stance for most of 2025.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 13.8 points, or
0.03%, at the open to 41,924.68. The S&P 500 fell 45.0
points, or 0.77%, at the open to 5,782.02, while the Nasdaq
Composite dropped 258.0 points, or 1.35%, to 18,903.664
at the opening bell.
