Bardhaman Uttar is an Assembly constituency in the Purba Bardhaman district, in the South West Bengal region of West Bengal.

The Bardhaman Uttar constituency went to polls on April 17, 2021.

In the 2016 Assembly elections, Bardhaman Uttar was won by Nisith Kumar Malik of TMC.

Before that, in the 2011 elections, the seat was held by Aparna Saha of CPIM.

In the 2016 assembly polls, Nisith Kumar Malik garnered 102886 votes, securing over 47.43 percent of the vote share, and winning the seat by a margin of 11505 votes.

In percentage terms, the victory margin was 5.3 percent.

The constituency polled 217130 votes in the 2016 West Bengal assembly polls with a voter turnout of 88.35 percent.

The Bardhaman Uttar constituency has a literacy level of 77.15 percent.

A total of 6 candidates stood in the 2016 elections.
