Hojai is an Assembly constituency in the Hojai district, in the Upper Assam region of Assam.

In the 2016 Assembly elections, Hojai was won by Shiladitya Dev of AIUDF.

Before that, in the 2011 elections, the seat was held by Dr. Ardhendu Kumar Dey of INC.In the 2016 assembly polls, Shiladitya Dev garnered 105615 votes, securing over 54.4 percent of the vote share, and winning the seat by a margin of 55859 votes.

In percentage terms, the victory margin was 28.77 percent.

The constituency polled 194148 votes in the 2016 Assam assembly polls with a voter turnout of 85.91 percent.

The Hojai constituency has a literacy level of 90.66 percent. A total of 6 candidates stood in the 2016 elections.
