Janet Yellen, President-elect Joe Biden's nominee for treasury secretary, is expected to urge lawmakers to 'act big' on relief spending during her confirmation hearing on Tuesday.

The Senate confirmation hearing for Janet Yellen to be appointed as a treasury secretary is scheduled later today in the US.

Reuters, the newswire service, reported some of what she is expected to say in introductory remarks during her senate confirmation hearing and it is the key portion, which is keeping markets excited.
