Jorasanko is an Assembly constituency in the Kolkata district, in the Greater Kolkata region of West Bengal.

The Jorasanko constituency went to polls on April 29, 2021.The assembly seat is reserved for the General category.

In the 2016 Assembly elections, Jorasanko was won by Smita Bakshi of CPIM. Before that, in the 2011 elections, the seat was held by Smita Bakshi of TMC.

In the 2016 assembly polls, Smita Bakshi garnered 44766 votes, securing over 42.79 percent of the vote share, and winning the seat by a margin of 6290 votes.In percentage terms, the victory margin was 6.01 percent.

The constituency polled 104640 votes in the 2016 West Bengal assembly polls with a voter turnout of 53.73 percent.

The Jorasanko constituency has a literacy level of 87.14 percent.

A total of 12 candidates stood in the 2016 elections.
