Memari is an Assembly constituency in the Purba Bardhaman district, in the South West Bengal region of West Bengal.

The Memari constituency went to polls on April 17, 2021.

In the 2016 Assembly elections, Memari was won by Begum Nargis of CPIM.

Before that, in the 2011 elections, the seat was held by Abul Hasem Mondal of TMC.

In the 2016 assembly polls, Begum Nargis garnered 94406 votes, securing over 46.35 percent of the vote share, and winning the seat by a margin of 8883 votes.

In percentage terms, the victory margin was 4.36 percent.

The constituency polled 203795 votes in the 2016 West Bengal assembly polls with a voter turnout of 87.37 percent.

The Memari constituency has a literacy level of 77.15 percent.

A total of 7 candidates stood in the 2016 elections.
