Sitai is an Assembly constituency in the Cooch Behar district, in the North Bengal region of West Bengal. The Sitai constituency went to polls on April 10, 2021.

The assembly seat is reserved for the Scheduled Caste category.

In the 2016 Assembly elections, Sitai was won by Jagadish Chandra Barma Basunia of AIFB. Before that, in the 2011 elections, the seat was held by Keshab Ch. Ray of INC. In the 2016 assembly polls, Jagadish Chandra Barma Basunia garnered 103410 votes, securing over 47.39 percent of the vote share, and winning the seat by a margin of 25251 votes.

In percentage terms, the victory margin was 11.57 percent. The constituency polled 218300 votes in the 2016 West Bengal assembly polls with a voter turnout of 83.14 percent. The Sitai constituency has a literacy level of 75.49 percent. A total of 7 candidates stood in the 2016 elections.
