BJP's Malati Rava Roy is leading the Tufanganj constituency with 8,202 votes.

Tufanganj is an Assembly constituency in the Cooch Behar district, in the North Bengal region of West Bengal. The Tufanganj constituency went to polls on April 10, 2021.

In the 2016 Assembly elections, Tufanganj was won by Fazal Karim Miah of CPIM. Before that, in the 2011 elections, the seat was held by Arghya Roy Pradhan of TMC.In the 2016 assembly polls, Fazal Karim Miah garnered 85052 votes, securing over 44.21 percent of the vote share, and winning the seat by a margin of 15270 votes.

In percentage terms, the victory margin was 7.94 percent. The constituency polled 192472 votes in the 2016 West Bengal assembly polls with a voter turnout of 90.13 percent. The Tufanganj constituency has a literacy level of 75.49 percent. A total of 7 candidates stood in the 2016 elections.
