Modular Devices Names Charlie Wemhoff as Chief Operating Officer to Support Rapid Growth

INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Modular Devices, a national leader in mobile and modular medical imaging and cleanroom solutions, today announces the appointment of Charlie Wemhoff as its first Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective September 22, 2025. This newly created leadership role reflects the company's continued expansion across multiple industries and geographies and its commitment to premier services to clients nationwide.

Wemhoff brings more than 25 years of operational leadership experience spanning both the medical imaging and cleanroom operations. His expertise includes leading multi-site operations, driving facility expansion, and successfully integrating acquired businesses.

Prior to joining Modular Devices, Wemhoff served as Vice President of Operations—North America at Nanosonics, where he directed manufacturing, distribution, engineering, and service functions while driving 25% annual growth. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles at G&H Orthodontics and Viant Medical, where he led large-scale operations and played a central role in a $1-billion acquisition integration. He began his career at Meritor (previously Arvin Industries), where he became a certified Toyota Production System trainer, delivering more than 400 hours of lean manufacturing workshops.

Wemhoff holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in management from Indiana University Bloomington. He also volunteers with The Mockingbird Foundation, securing grants to support local music and arts programs for young people.
