10:56 AM EDT, 07/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were tracking lower Wednesday morning, declining 0.84% to 2,853.03 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index.
From North Asia, the gainers were led by education company Four Seasons Education (FEDU) that rose 7% and mobile big data platform Aurora Mobile ( JG ) , which rose 6%. They were followed by electric vehicle maker NIO (NIO), which was up 4%.
The decliners from North Asia were led by real estate management and digital security firm Eason Technology ( DXF ) and automotive marketplace Token Cat ( TC ) , which dropped 9% and 5.6% respectively. They were followed by internet and data center services provider VNET Group ( VNET ) and biopharmaceutical company Zai Lab ( ZLAB ) , which lost 5.9% and 2.5% respectively.
From South Asia, the gainers were led by IT firm Wipro ( WIT ) and tech conglomerate Sea (SE), which advanced 1.7% and 0.5% respectively. They were followed by lender HDFC Bank ( HDB ) and pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (RDY), which increased 0.8% and 0.7% respectively.
The decliners from South Asia were led by computer hardware maker Canaan (CAN) and IT firm Sify Technologies ( SIFY ) , which fell 2% and 0.8% respectively. They were followed by lender ICICI Bank ( IBN ) and telecommunications operator Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLK), which were off 1% and 0.5% respectively.
