CANADA STOCKS-Technology shares lift TSX at open

Aug 7 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened

higher on Wednesday with technology shares leading gains after

Shopify beat quarterly revenue estimates, while the index looked

towards a broader recovery.

At 9:30 a.m. ET (1330 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's

S&P/TSX composite index was up 282.67 points, or 1.29%

at 22,262.03.
