08:42 AM EDT, 07/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amphenol ( APH ) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Wednesday of $0.44 per diluted share, up from $0.36 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.41.

Net sales for the quarter ended June 30 were $3.61 billion, up from $3.05 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $3.38 billion.

For Q3, the company said it expects adjusted diluted EPS in the range of $0.43 to $0.45. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $0.44. Sales for the quarter are expected to be between $3.70 billion to $3.80 billion. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect about $3.70 billion.

The company said its board raised its quarterly dividend by 50% to $0.165 per share, payable Oct. 9 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 17.

Amphenol's ( APH ) stock was 1.2% lower in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
