10:30 AM EST, 11/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- BorgWarner ( BWA ) said Thursday it has appointed Chief Operating Officer Joseph Fadool as chief executive officer and a board member, starting Feb. 6.

Current CEO Frederic Lissalde will retire on that date but remain in an advisory role until Aug. 30, the company said.

BorgWarner ( BWA ) shares were up 2% in recent trading.
