September 4 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,

acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on

Thursday:

** MFE-MediaForEurope said in a regulatory filing that

it had secured a stake of 75.61% in ProSiebenSat.1

following its takeover bid for the German broadcaster.

** Steelmaker ArcelorMittal's talks to sell its South

African unit to state-owned Industrial Development Corporation

have stalled over valuation differences, Bloomberg News

reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

** U.S.-based KKR has acquired South Korea's cosmetics

packaging company Samhwa Co from TPG in a deal valued at

733 billion Korean won ($528 million), Samhwa said.

** Global miner Anglo American said it has raised about

$2.5 billion from the sale of its remaining 19.9% stake in

Valterra Platinum, its former subsidiary.

** Insurance distribution platform Brightway Insurance has

acquired GlobalGreen Insurance Agency, a multi-state franchise

network of insurance agencies with approximately $270 million in

annual written premium.
