01:19 PM EDT, 07/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were rising Monday afternoon, with the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) up 0.2% and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) adding 0.7%.

In corporate news, Stellantis ( STLA ) reported Monday an H1 preliminary loss of 2.30 billion euros ($2.68 billion). Preliminary revenue for H1 was 74.3 billion euros. Stellantis ( STLA ) said it's in the early stages of improving profitability, with new vehicle launches expected to drive better results in H2. Its shares rose 1.5%.
